It took me a good amount of time for me to decide and come to US to study. I was already in College at that time, majoring science of advertising and PR. And just like any other men in Korea, I entered an army.

There, I heard lot about study abroad information from my military mates, the benefits of it mostly. I spent my spare time thinking about myself studying in the US but I thought it as just a midsummer night’s dream. After I was discharged, instead of going abroad, I decided to transfer in Korea. But it was harder than I expected. I was very disappointed and didn’t know what to do for a while. During the break I decided to go on a vacation to Japan. While in Japan, I learned their cultures, thoughts and I found that there are many more aspects about going abroad than just seeing the attractions. I thought to myself, why not try go to US and learn cultures and other things rather than learning English only?

Finally, I made up my mind, decided to go to US, there I found the Uni Prep. The Uni Prep helped me from applying to language school to getting my visa. And at last, I came to US. First, I started with Kaplan international language school, studied there for 6 months. When I needed help with classes at Kaplan, I went to the Uni Prep for tutoring services. With that help, I was getting closer to entering the college.

I was suggested to attend the Bridge College before applying to my dream school since my GPA was not good enough and I also needed a taste of how the college in US was like. So I entered the bridge college. I carefully forwarded each step with the Uni Prep, having grammar checks on every assignment, practicing presentation scripts, and so on. I was excited that I am getting closer and closer to my dream. But just like all the stories have crisis, I encountered one.
