Admitted School: Columbia University
I found the Uni Prep when I just started my second semester at the Berkeley College. I wanted to transfer to Columbia University, which was, at that time, impossible.

First semester went very smoothly but as I entered the second semester, when major subjects came in, I was overwhelmed. I asked few friends for any good tutoring service centers and that is how I found the Uni Prep.

At first it was just wanted the tutoring service. But as I talked with Eric, consultant I met at the Uni Prep, he asked me what I really wanted to study and what my dream school was. I was little shy to say that I wanted to go to Columbia University but when I said it, he didn’t laughed at me but started to make plans for my future, telling me that dream can really come true. First thing that I had to face was maintaining my GPA.

As I mentioned before, business courses were problems. I didn’t understand what professors were saying, didn’t even get the basics of those courses. Eric suggested me to have tutoring service for my GPA. And tutoring service gave me more knowledge than I expected. I thought it would only help me with that particular subject but rather it helped me with my writing, note-taking skills, and overall English skills. I was able to keep my 4.0 GPA. Second thing was that I still needed pre-requisites that transfer students must have before transferring to Columbia University.

Because I wanted to transfer as soon as possible (graduate as soon as possible), I asked Eric if there was any way I could not take another semester. Eric suggested me to take online hybrid course at the Bridge School that the Uni Prep is connected with. Again, it was little hard doing two school works at the same time, I didn’t give up. And the Uni Prep was always there to support me.

I successfully earned all the credits required with high GPA as well. We prepared everything by the deadline and submitted everything on time. And just like a dream, acceptance letter came at the end of November. I still can’t believe that I will be actually going to Columbia University.

And I thank the Uni Prep for this, making impossible to possible. Thank you Eric and every staff at the Uni Prep.
